Singularity - PC

Singularity is a science fiction-themed first-person shooter game that has interactive time-controlling gameplay. The game does not have Steam activation but can run on Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 (32-bit and 64-bit), and Windows 8.1. It is stored in the Program Files (x86) folder, so it appears to be a 32-bit application. However, it does work with Windows 10. The game requires DirectX 9.0c and a 100% DirectX 9.0c-compliant 256 MB video card and drivers. It is designed to run on a minimum of Intel Pentium D (dual-core) 2.8GHz or AMD Athlon X2 4800+ or better, 1 GB of RAM, and 8 GB of uncompressed hard disk space. Singularity has received mixed reviews from customers. Some love the game's features, such as the sniper rifle, the time powers, and the interactive gameplay reminiscent of Half-Life, Bioshock, and Doom 3. The game is great for a weekend gaming experience and has sound graphics, action, storyline, character mobility, and different weapons and tools available. It is a good game, but it is kind of short and lacks much story depth, which is disappointing. The guided mission feels "on rails," and the level design is a bit simple. The game does not have much ingenuity involved in how to proceed through a given mission, and you occasionally find transparent walls/ceilings that can make for a frustrating gaming experience. The biggest pain for some users is that the game ported from a Console, which means that there are no video options to increase graphics, and the game only runs on stereo, with anything more (4.1/5.1/7.1) yielding absolutely no sound. The control port is also somewhat unintuitive, which can be frustrating.
