Snapit Hardware Editorial Review
**Editorial Review of Snapit Versatile Handheld Electronics Device Holder** The Snapit Versatile Handheld Electronics Device Holder has garnered a largely positive reception among users who appreciate its functional design and quality Construction. With an easy installation process, customers report a perfect fit for various handheld VHF devices, including popular models such as the Icom M94D and the Cobra MR HH350. Many users highlight the robust build which ensures that their devices are held securely, with no risk of bouncing out during use, which is especially important in a boating environment. However, the holder is not without its drawbacks. One customer noted the fit issue with the Standard Horizon HX870 when using a belt clip, which some users found disappointing given the product description’s claim of sufficient clearance for such clips. A common workaround has been to remove the clip to ensure a better fit. While most users are satisfied with their purchases, there were a few installation challenges, particularly involving the long screw intended to accommodate different tubing sizes. Overall, the Snapit holder fulfills its promise as a reliable mount specifically designed for handheld VHF devices, making it an essential accessory for users seeking flexibility on their boats without the need for permanently mounted units. Its main appeal lies in its ease of installation and the degree to which it securely accommodates various handheld devices. **
