It can only bend 3/8 inch or 1-inch-wide edge strips inserted into its long slot with manually applied bending force. It is 12 inches long and can be moved along for longer edges. It works well on 24-gauge or thinner galvanized steel but may cause chipping on painted or powder-coated metal surfaces. The tool is of good quality, easy to use, and durable.
