Stant Fuel Tank Caps 21591 Editorial Review
The Stant 21591 Fuel Cap is designed specifically for diesel vehicles and offers enhanced security features that many customers appreciate. Users express satisfaction with its ability to deter potential theft, which is particularly important for diesel trucks and RVs that carry significant amounts of fuel. The locking mechanism aimed at providing a safeguard is highlighted as a vital feature, especially with fuel prices averaging around $5.00 per gallon. However, some customers have noted issues with the product's reliability. A few users reported that one of the caps malfunctioned after its initial use, locking up and becoming unusable, which raises concerns about quality control. Furthermore, there have been remarks about the product arriving in an old and dirty package, although the caps themselves can be tested upon opening. Despite these concerns, many users found the Stant fuel caps easy to install and valued the keyed-alike feature which allowed for uniform use across both caps. This is a significant advantage for those looking to replace outdated non-locking caps. Overall, the Stant 21591 Fuel Cap is a solid choice for individuals seeking secure fuel caps for their diesel vehicles, although potential buyers should remain cautious of the quality and ensure that the caps are locked properly to maximize their security features. **
