Mityvac Compression Gauges Editorial Review
The Mityvac MV5532 Digital Compression Test Kit has received mixed reviews from customers. Some users have found the kit to be effective and convenient, praising its ability to store compression values for each cylinder. However, there have been multiple reports of defective units and a lack of customer support. Some customers have experienced issues such as a non-readable screen, loose wires, and a gauge failure. Additionally, there have been complaints about error messages and a lack of instructions for resetting the device. While some reviewers have found this product to be of good quality Considering its Chinese manufacturing, others have expressed disappointment and frustration with Mityvac's apparent decline in quality control. It is worth noting that this kit is specifically designed for gasoline engines and is not suitable for use with diesel engines.
