About This Item

Upgrade your Legiones Astartes strike force with the Games Workshop - Warhammer - The Horus Heresy - Legiones Astartes: Special Weapons Upgrade Set. This versatile set allows you to replace the standard bolters of your Legion Tactical Support Squads with specialized weapons, giving you the flexibility to engage a wide range of targets on your own terms. With this upgrade kit, you can equip your Legionaries from the MKVI Tactical Squad set with powerful special weapons. The set includes 10 flamers, 10 plasma guns, 10 meltaguns, 10 rotor cannons, 10 volkite chargers, and 10 volkite calivers.

The varied selection of weapons allows you to customize your Tactical Support Squads to suit your strategic needs. Clear bunkers and trenches with flamers, take down hordes of lightly-armored foes with rotor cannons, melt tanks with meltaguns, and cut through targets with beams of thermal energy using volkite weapons. The kit provides five slightly different designs for each type of special weapon, ensuring that your Legionaries will stand out on the battlefield. You can upgrade up to three full MKVI Tactical Squad sets, creating six Tactical Support Squads of 10 models or 12 units of five models. Please note that this upgrade kit consists of 100 plastic components and requires assembly.

We recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel paints for the best results. Additionally, to make full use of these upgrades, you will need a copy of the Warhammer: The Horus Heresy – Age of Darkness Rulebook and either the Liber Astartes: Loyalist Legiones Astartes Army Book or Liber Hereticus: Traitor Legiones Astartes Army Book.
