STAEDTLER 8023 C12-2ST Editorial Review
The STAEDTLER 8023 C12-3 FIMO Soft Oven Hardening Modelling Clay is a popular choice for artists and crafters looking to create beautiful and durable clay creations. The clay comes in a set of 12 x 25g blocks in pastel colors, providing a good range of options for creating various projects. One of the key features of this clay is its oven-hardening property. Once baked, the clay becomes hard, making it perfect for creating long-lasting pieces. The clay retains its original pastel colors even after being baked, which may be a downside for those looking for translucent clay creations. In this case, it is recommended to try Cernit clay, which offers a translucent option. The clay is soft enough to make hand or foot imprints, but users may need a larger quantity to work with. It may require some manipulation and shaping to get the clay soft enough for molding. However, the final results are worth the effort. Blending the colors together can be a bit challenging with this clay. According to a reviewer, it takes time and effort to mix the colors thoroughly as the clay is quite firm, especially when cold. So, it may require patience to achieve the desired blended effect. Overall, the STAEDTLER 8023 C12-3 FIMO Soft Oven Hardening Modelling Clay is a reliable and durable option for various crafting projects. With its pastel colors and oven-hardening property, it's a great choice for those wanting to create long-lasting clay creations. Just keep in mind that blending colors together may require some extra effort.
