iGaging Depth Gauges 400-D68 Editorial Review
The iGaging Depth Gauge Dial Indicator presents a strong option for users seeking precision in their measurements, especially within automotive applications. Praised for its accuracy, the product effectively measures within the 0-22" range with a remarkable resolution of 0.0005". Users have noted its reliability, particularly highlighting its effectiveness in precise tasks such as setting timing on vehicles, exemplified by feedback from a Porsche 911 user. Many customers appreciate the value for money this gauge offers, noting that while they may not use it frequently, it performs reliably when called upon. Accuracy has been a Consistent theme in user experiences, with reports indicating that the gauge operates correctly and Consistently for small measurements, up to 0-1" accuracy within .001 inches. However, one area of concern arises with the base of the gauge. Some customers have reported issues with the second hole’s threads being too loose, which hampers the stability of the indicator during use. This inConsistency in build quality of the base has led to some disappointment, overshadowing the otherwise strong performance of the gauge. In summary, the iGaging Depth Gauge Dial Indicator is well-received for its accuracy and value, although potential buyers should be wary of the stability issues associated with its base. **
